I just recived my official confirmation to judge the BBQ Society’s wonderful event this year. If you have not taken the Oath and attended a KCBS Certified Bbq Judge (CBJ) class, consider what you are missing…… great bbq and lots of it!
Don’t delay, sign up TODAY.
What started out in 2013 as a practice contest for the Dutch barbecue teams, grew into a KCBS Licensed Contest with 15 teams from 3 different countries. In 2014 the the Cook-Off became a KCBS Sanctioned contest, that means that the results of the contest counted towards the worldwide ranking, KCBS Team of the Year, the draw for the Jack Daniels World Championship in Lynchburg, TN and the American Royal.
Also did the results count towards the Dutch Low and Slow Barbecue title.
For 2015 we continue to organise one of the coziest barbecue contests of the season. And we’ve added a dessert category for all of you with a sweet tooth out there.
There is a 30 team limit so if you want to compete, hurry up and sign in.
Please note: as of this time the field for cook teams has reached capacity, you can still register for the reserved list in the event one of the qualifying teams should cancel.

Welcome to the new home of the French BBQ Association. Here you will find the latest events related to upcoming KCBS sanctioned events in France and our surrounding countries. Perhaps you would rather just sharpen your skills at backyard grilling and chilling, we can help you there too!
Whether you are a seasoned veteran or relatively new to the American style of “Low and Slow” cooking, we welcome you and invite you to come on in, pull up a chair, and sit a spell. We all have a lot to share based on our personal experiences, strengths, and most importantly our failures.
Are you interested in taking a KCBS Sanctioned Cooking Class?
Would you like to attend a Certified Barbecue Judging Class and receive your CBJ accreditation enabling you to judge at a competition in the future? (did I mention all the great food you get to eat?)
Leave us a comment in the comment section and we will forward the appropriate information as per your request!
Thank you and Merci Beaucoup
